Larry Kaplan - Owner
Larry purchased The Wine Cellar in September of 2001.  Larry has been collecting and tasting wine for the past 15 years and has amassed a 9,000 bottle personal cellar.  He decided to leave his career in television advertising sales to pursue his passion for wine.  In the short time he has owned it, Larry has transformed  The Wine Cellar into one of the premier wine stores in Illinois.  His philosophy is to find the very best wines and make them available to everyone.  Both Larry and Craig are always looking for new and exciting wine to offer their customers.

Craig Brautigam - Manager
Craig is a native of the Chicago area.  He graduated from The New England Culinary Institute in 1995.  After working in Chicago, North Carolina and Memphis in both the front and back of the house, he was hired in the wine and liquor trade at the retail level.  He and his wife recently moved back to Chicago and shortly after returning found his home at The Wine Cellar.  He has been selling wine for the past 5 years.
