  2002 Vintage

This was the coolest growing season in the past 75 years. It was also the driest growing season in a century. All this added up to one of the best vintages ever. After speaking with a number of wine makers they all have said that this may be the best wine that they have ever made.
  On the 2003 Vintage

This appears to be a challenging vintage. There has been a good amount of rain along with a very hot growing season. The high end wine that have taken the care to prune back there fruit and really focus on the best cluster will have great wine.Other may turn out to be just average. This is a vintage that will need careful study.
  2004

This may be the best vintage of spain in over 10 years the weather was specactular and the star alined for what should prove to be an amazing vintage. This is one of the years you say " if you did not make a good wine out of this vintage you may want to reconsider you profession." A vintage like this let the drinker do a few things. First, it offers some great wine from the well know best producer that should get the high high scores. It also allow the adventurer the opportunity to buy both inexpensive wines from different regions and get a feel for them and broaden their view of Spain. You will also have more great wine coming out of this country so there should be a good supply.
